HD Dvd's and Blu Ray Disc

Now that downloads are continuing to affect film box offices. Each year people are finding it better and more accessible to either buy a pirate copy dvd or download. So now big company's are trying to attract the attention they once had, Big company's sony are backing Blu Ray:

There is now a big battle between these two competitors. The Sony PS3 uses blu ray so primarily if the PS3 sells well this will mean great success for sony, possibly gaining a bigf win from the huge financial loss years earlier with the vide betamax player.
